Kuala Lumpur: Primeworks and WAU Animation have released their first-ever Ejen Ali short film, named Misi: Juang to tribute to Covid-19 frontliners in Malaysia. This short animated film also features Health DG Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, who has been playing a significant role in order to contain the deadly Coronavirus.
Misi: Juang, which has been released on Ejen Ali ‘s official YouTube channel on the eve of Christmas day on 25 December, celebrates the efforts of Coron warriors and pays tribute to the tireless, hardworking Covid-19 frontliners.
Earlier, Ejen Ali’s movie was first released in November 2019, just after China detected its first Covid-19 case.
However, in the past 1 year its theme song Kita Jaga Kita became Malaysia’s ray of hope and it united them in the most difficult time.
In a statement, Primeworks announced that the new movie is to pay tribute to the tireless, hardworking frontliners.
The film also features heroic character MATA Ejen and other special characters who fought bravely against the Covid-19 virus.
Chief Executive Officer of WAU Animation, Usamah Zaid Yasin said that the movie appreciates frontliners who are fighting on the battleground to an unseen enemy.
