12 Foreign Sex Workers Held After Police Raid At Hotel In Jalan Ipoh

Kuala Lumpur: Police have raided in a three-star hotel in Jalan Ipoh and arrested Vietnamese and Thai sex workers at late night on Wednesday. Police said that action was taken after receiving the complaints from locals about sex workers in a hotel.

Police said that at least 12 women arrested during the raid, in which nine women were Vietnamese and three were Thai aged between 20 to 30 years old.

Police further said that sex activities were happening in twelve rooms on eights and ninth floors of the hotel.

Each prostitute’s price was at RM235, police said, who were searching them over the past two weeks.

According to police, “some of the foreigners, who detained, had valid travel documents while some claimed that their passports were kept by others”.
