Two men suspected of being allegedly involved in causing pollution at Sungai Batang Benar, which led to water disruption in Klang Valley have been arrested.
Deputy Inspector-General of Police Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani said the suspects, aged between 30 and 40 were arrested in Kota Baru and were sent to Nilai police headquarters to be investigated.
He said he had not received any further details of the Investigation and asked for some time to investigate the matter.
According to the initial investigation, the water was contaminated in Sungai Batang Benar. The two men, who worked as lorry drivers have been remanded for seven days.
Earlier, this water pollution affected 274 areas and 309,687 account users.
