Kuala Lumpur: Tan Sri Annuar Musa today has been sacked from the post of Barisan Nasional (BN) Secretary General with immediate effect on Tuesday. The decision was made by BN Chairman, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi in a meeting, according to sources.
Annuar, who is also Member of the Supreme Council (MKT) UMNO, previously had said he was ready to be fired from the party if his criticism on the issue of unification of the Malays and Islam are not likable members and grassroots leaders of the party.
The move comes a day after Musa defended the Supreme Council’s ‘No DAP, No Anwar’, saying that he is willing to be fired from the party post if they feel he is wrong and his stand goes against the party norms.
