Kuala Lumpur: A spokesman from Palace Annuar Zaini revealed the outcome of today’s special audience between Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah, and Perak Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu), considering PAS was no show at the palace.
He said that no party has enough majority support of state lawmakers to form a new stable government.
Nazrin who had summoned all the assemblymen from Bersatu and PAS to confirm the statement and convince him that they have sufficient support, now that he is completely updated with the developments.
However, after the audience, it was clear that none of the parties called today had enough support.
Earlier, Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu had lost a motion of confidence that was tabled in the state assembly. He lost the support of the majority of the State Legislative Assembly after the motion failed to garner enough votes.
