Kuala Lumpur: Opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim has arrived at Istana Negara for his audience with Yang di-Pertuan Agong. According to reports, he entered into Istana Negara in a black jaguar without any greetings to the media personnel waiting outside the palace.
Anwar Ibrahim, who stated last month that he had the numbers to form a new government and that Yang di-Pertuan Agong had consented to grant him an audience.
Earlier, the meeting had to be postponed after the King was admitted to the National Heart Institute due to his ill health.
He claimed to have a “strong, formidable, convincing majority” of members of parliament MPs to form a new government. He announced that with this support, the time for Muhyiddin Yassin’s government has come to an end.
However, there is also a doubt that how Anwar would show his numbers as no major party or any group of lawmakers have come out to him since he claimed to have enough MPs to topple Muhyiddin Yassin’s government.
