Kuala Lumpur: Azhar Harun asks Perak state assembly speaker to always remember the party who appointed him and brought him to power when carrying out his constitutional duties.
This came after Perak Menteri Besar Ahmad Faizal Azumu lost a motion of confidence that was tabled in the state assembly on Friday. He lost the support of the majority of the State Legislative Assembly after the motion failed to garner enough votes.

Earlier, Zahir Abdul Kalid announced that out of the 59 assemblypersons, 10 voted for the motion, 48 voted against, and one abstained.
The motion was submitted by UMNO Pengkalan Baru assemblyman Aznel Ibrahim, who was appointed as MB’s political secretary last month.
