Batu Sapi By-elections To Be Held On 5 December

Kuala Lumpur: The polling date for the Batu Sapi by-election has been set for December 5, Election Commission chairman Abdul Ghani Salleh said. The nomination day has been fixed for 23 November.

The by-election for the Batu Sapi parliamentary seat in Sabah was announced after the death of incumbent Batu Sapi MP Liew Vui Keong.

He added that the campaigning period has been fixed to 12 days, while the application for postal voting is open from today.

Standard operating procedures will be declared soon, while the leaders are not allowed to hold mass gatherings.
