Kuala Lumpur: With the support of 111 members of parliament, the Supply Bill (RUU) 2021 for the third reading was passed in the Dewan Rakyat on Tuesday. This was done through divisional voting.
The thrilling moment remained in favor of the National Alliance government (PN) despite the opposition bloc opposing with a full force of 108 people.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Datuk Azhar Azizan Harun informed that only one Member of Parliament was not present in the voting session which was so bitter in determining the fate of the government.
The absent Member of Parliament came from the government bloc following a simple majority of 112.
The success of approving the 2021 Budget clearly rejects the allegation that PN will collapse today and the Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin may lose his post.
