Kuala Lumpur: The women’s, family and community development ministry announced that public and private childcare centres are permitted to operate under the conditional movement control order.
The women, family and community development minister Rina Mohd Harun said these centres would have to take permission from their respective Social Welfare Departments (JKM) nationwide and would also work under guidelines provided by the authorities.
She stated that there is no barrier’s in their working, as the economic sector will work as usual and parents will have to go to work.
When asked about the standard operating procedures, she said that it is requested that parents bathe their children before sending them to the centres.
Adding that a schedule has been provided to them to avoid congestion.
Earlier, Senior Minister Ismail Sabri announced CMCO is the peninsula states except for Pahang, Kelantan and Perlis.
