Kuala Lumpur: Johor State Health Director Dr Aman Rabu was among four individuals who were conferred the Second Most Honored Rank of Sultan Ibrahim Johor, Dato ‘Mulia Sultan Ibrahim Johor (DMIJ) by the Sultan of Johor Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar on Sunday.
The award ceremony took place at Istana Pasir Pelangi here, in conjunction with His Majesty Tuanku Sultan’s 62nd Birthday today.
Apart from Dr Aman, DMIJ was also awarded the Mayor of Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP) Salehuddin Hassan, Chinese Major David Wong Khoong Soon and Trustee Member of the Sultan Ibrahim Johor Foundation (YSIJ) Avinderjit Singh Harjit Singh.
Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad and Johor State Secretary Datuk Azmi Rohani were also present during the ceremony.
David Wong, who is also a descendant of Wong Ah Fook, was appointed Chinese Major over the Sultan of Johor last September.
He carries out his duties and collaborates with YSIJ in coordinating, organizing and implementing the distribution of food necessities to the people of Johor.
