Dr M Formed Negative View Against Me To Remove As AG; Mohamed Apandi

Kuala Lumpur: Mohamed Apandi Ali has said that former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad had formed a negative view against him which led to his removal as Attorney General (AG).

He claims that because of Dr M’s disapproval, he was unconstitutionally and unlawfully terminated by the former prime minister.

In his reply to Dr Mahathir and the government’s statement of defence, he said that he would bring evidence to prove that Dr Mahathir had formed a venomous and thus negative view against Apandi, and thus was determined to remove him from the position of Attorney General, unconstitutionally and unlawfully.

Further, claiming that Dr M passed biased comments against him personally and the office of the Attorney General, even before he was removed from the position.

He is demanding special damages in the sum of RM2.2 million, general damages, exemplary damages, costs and other reliefs in his suit.
