Consultation with Performance Committee

Fahmi Fadzil disclosed that he had consulted with the Committee for the Application for Filming and Performance by Foreign Artistes, a body comprising 16 agencies, including the Malaysian Islamic Development Department and Home Ministry. He emphasized the existence of a comprehensive screening process and urged stakeholders to adhere to established procedures for approving performances by foreign artists.

Addressing Mufti’s Concerns

Acknowledging the views of Penang Mufti, Fahmi Fadzil expressed appreciation for the diverse perspectives within the committee.
