Kuala Lumpur: The Malaysian Football Association extended their heartfelt condolences to the national football player Muhammad Syafiq Ahmad, who lost his family members in a tragic car accident on the North-South Expressway (PLUS) Sungai Bakap, early this morning. The incident took place at 5.30 in Penang.
In the incident, he lost his new-born son, and mother-in-law Zainab Wahab. While he and his two-year-old daughter suffered minor injuries and his wife is critical after suffering major injuries.
Along with his son, mother-in-law, an Indonesian housekeeper, Period Sukamti, aged 30 also passed away.
The Fam gave its sincerest condolences and prayed to God to forgive their sins and bless their souls.
His fans and football lovers are praying for him and his family, asking Allah to carry them through this painful and heavy test.
