Kuala Lumpur: A 40-year-old man, who is believed to have killed his eight-month-old baby boy, was dragged into the court after he refused to cooperate.
The body of the boy was found smeared with salt. It is believed that his biological father, who is suffering from mental disorder, killed his baby with a blunt object in Kampung Sungai Dua, Bachok on Tuesday.
The father, who was also involved in deviant teaching, said he heard an angel’s voice before he killed his son. Police had not been able to record his statement as he had not spoken a word.
After being arrested, he refused to get out of the car and said he needed to pray. Police gave him 10 mins, however, he still didn’t want to get out which prompted six police personnel to carry him to the courtroom for proceedings.
He has been issued a seven-day remand order and will be investigated into the baby’s murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
