A plastic recycling factory in the Bandar Sultan Sulaiman industrial area, Port Klang, was left destroyed about 90% after it caught fire last night. However, the situation has been brought under control by Selangor Fire and Rescue Department.
Department official Norazam Khamis said they were able to control the fire from spreading to other buildings. He added that the fire station got the information at 9pm, however, it is believed that the fire may have started much earlier.

He furthered revealed that so far no casualties have been reported, but the fire destroyed nearly 90% of the building. Although officials were able to fully control the situation, it will take time to completely extinguish as it involves plastic items.
He said he couldn’t share more information, while the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
