A 13-year-old girl has given birth to a baby after being allegedly raped by her cousin multiple times in Sabah’s Kota Marudu. Both the girl and newly born baby have been referred to the nearby hospital by the victim’s mother. District Police have launched an investigation into the matter. The woman was shocked after her 13-year-old daughter gave birth to a baby at home in a village, Kota Marudu. According to report Sinar Harian, a woman, who woke up at 3, saw her daughter cleaning the baby girl. The incident took place last week on Sunday.
Shocked by the incident, the woman immediately took the teenager and the baby to Kota Belud Hospital for proper examination and treatment.
Meanwhile, Kota Belud District Police Chief said that the initial investigation found that the victim was believed to have been raped by a 14 -year -old boy who was her cousin. According to police, the victim had raped multiple times last year in August.
