A husband and wife were today sentenced to death for the murder of their 8-year-old son in the year 2017. The court upheld the sentence by a lower court and found the couple guilty on murder charges. Though the reason for the murder was not specified, the court found “overwhelming” evidence — as many as 32 witnesses, CCTV footage and lab reports to prove torture on the child who was found dead at a message center where the couple worked earlier.

The Shah Alam High Court today handed the death penalty to the couple who was found guilty of murdering their 8-year-old son in 2017.
The court ruled that Aaron Teoh, 37, and his wife, En Sit Mooi, 40, will be hanged till death for murdering and torturing their son. The couple broke down soon after they heard the judgement. The judge also handed them 8-year imprisonment from the date they were arrested in 2017.
The couple was found guilty after as many as 32 witnesses testified against them. Apart from witnesses, the court was also presented with CCTV footage and a forensic report that found torture on the boy’s body.
