Ismail Sabri’s political secretary Syed Mohd Fazmi Sayid Mohammad has filed a case against Noor Adam on the behalf of the minister on July 5.

A police complaint was filed against Lokman Noor Adam for allegedly claiming in a live Facebook video that Ismail Sabri forced 25 MPs to join the Bersatu.

Fazmi said that Noor Adam’s claims are absolutely baseless and trying to tarnish Ismail Sabri’s image.

“After examining the content of the video, I found that the owner of the account had slandered and incited Ismail Sabri from the third minute to the end of the video and I was also told that he (Ismail Sabri) had never made any statement regarding the allegations,” he said in the report.

He explained that the investigation on Lokman should be done in accordance with the acts related to defamation (Sedition Act 1948, Anti False News Act (Act 803) and SKKM Act (Act 1998) because clearly, he had arbitrarily made open allegations.
