Police Busts “Wild Party” Of Civil Servants, 18 Women Among 32 Arrested

Police has arrested at least four civil servants among 32 individuals at a luxury hotel in Jalan Pinang. All were nabbed after being involved in a “wild party” held at a hotel on Sunday morning. A civil servant had organised the party, that was kept secret from the public. There are 18 women among those arrested

Dang Wangi police chief ACP Mohamad Zainal Abdullah has said that four civil servants and 32 others were arrested at a hotel in a raid for allegedly breaching MCO. According to the police, all were partying in two separate rooms of the hotel. There were eight foreigners and 18 women aged 20 to 50 were in involved in the party.

Police said in a statement that one of civil servants had organized the entire party, including booking rooms in a luxury hotel in Jalan Pinang.

Police have lodged against violators under Section 21A of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 (Act 342) for failing to comply with standard operating procedures (SOP).
