Kuala Lumpur: Housing and local government minister Zuraida Kamaruddin has stated that the US Vice President-elect Kamala Harris has the key to forging new beginnings in this era of women empowerment.
Malaysia’s female representative and a vocal advocate for gender equality in the government praised Kamala’s achievements while referring to her as an ‘inspiration’.
Zuraida also said that she looks forward to working with Kamala Harris on shared visions for women empowerment in the coming years.
“You are proof that no mountain is too high, and no ocean too deep for a woman to achieve anything she sets her mind to,” Zuraida said. “As the vice-president-elect, you hold the key to forging new beginnings in this era of women empowerment and to bring about peace and prosperity to the global community, ” she further quoted.
