Malaysian King Yang di-Pertuan Agong and his wife Raja Permaisuri Agong are expected to make a trip to the Uniter Kingdon by end of this month. According to media reports, they both could visit until September 27. The Foreign Affairs Ministry announced that the trip is to mark the importance of the close relationship between the two countries. This is Agong’s second visit to the UK.

In a statement, the ministry said that the trip also shows Agong’s concern for the well-being of the people, investments, and Malaysia’s interest in the United Kingdom.
The trip includes a visit to Battersea Power Station, which is a joint venture between Sime Darby Property, SP Setia Berhad, the Employees Provident Fund (EPF), and Permodalan National Berhad (PNB).
The King and Queen will attend a meeting at the Malaysian High Commission in London, scheduled on 24 September. The meeting involves Malaysian entrepreneurs, academics, students, and community leaders.
He will also meet General Nicholas Carter, chief of the defence staff of the United Kingdom, to discuss the two countries’Â defence cooperation.
