Yang di-Pertuan Agong today called on Muslims to remain united despite having difference in opinions as this characteristic will enable them, the state, and the nation to advance. Agong said that Muslims should not have a belief that they cannot tolerate the opinion of others and cause factions in the mosque.

In a statement, His Majesty said, “This is an unhealthy phenomenon which we should avoid.” He further said the mosque institution must be protected and not be made a political arena for any party or faction.
He said this at the official opening of Air Rahmani Jamek Mosque in Kampung Banggol, Kepala Batas today.
