Air Selangor has announced scheduled maintenance work which will cause water disruption in nearly 1,000 areas in Klang Valley. The water cut will effect areas in Petaling, Klang/Shah Alam, Gombak, Kuala Lumpur, Hulu Selangor, Kuala Langat and Kuala Selangor. The upgrade and maintenance work will start from 9 am on October 13 to 9 pm on October 16.

In a statement, Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd said that due to the work the Sg Selangor Phase 1 Water Treatment Plant will be shutdown. The full water supply is expected to be restored at 9 pm on October 16.
Air Selangor stated that the water supply will be distributed in stages from 5 pm on October 14, after the work is completed and the supply distribution system has been stabilised.
During this period, Air Selangor will provide 18 public water taps and will also mobilise 105 water tankers to the affected areas.For further information, consumers can visit the Air Selangor website at www.airselangor.com and other official social media handles.
