MACC To Meet Another DAP MP Over Alleged “Money For Support” To Muhyiddin Yassin

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) will meet another opposition MP in Perak over allegations of being offered bribes to support the National Alliance (PN) government.

MACC Chief Commissioner said that so far it has met three MPs of DAP to get more information regarding the allegations. A probe has been launched by MACC ever since DAP MPs claimed that money and positions were offered in exchange to support PM Muhyiddin Yassin amid the clash with UMNO.

MACC Commissioner has said that investigation team will meet another DAP MP and question him on the WhatsApp chat messages regarding the money offers.

The three MPs, who had met the MACC regarding the allegation of bribe to support PN, were Khoo Poay Tiong (Kota Melaka), M Kula Segaran (West Ipoh) and Dr Kelvin Yii Lee Wuen (Kuching).

Last week on Saturday, Kula Segaran, a former Human Resources Minister, claimed that he was offered a ministerial post and a sum of money in order to support for Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.
