Malaysia Vaccination: Malaysia today crossed 300,000 vaccination mark, PM Muhyiddin Yassin said. The development was in line with the government’s projections, the PM said, adding that a total of 313,671 doses were administered yesterday.
The new jabs given have brought the total number of people vaccinated in the country to 9.3 million (28.6% of the population). Among these, at least 6.5 million people have received at least one dose, while 2.7 million people have received two doses, the PM said.
“The government is optimistic that our plans are on track,” Muhyiddin said.
Kuala Lumpur has the most, 67%, of its population vaccinated against the virus, followed by Sarawak (43.6%), Putrajaya (41.4%), and Labuan (37.4%).
