Kuala Lumpur: Umno supreme council member Datuk Mohd Puad Zarkashi asked the Barisan Nasional (BN) lawmakers to kamikaze support for Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin, as he failed to fulfil his end of the bargain in exchange for support for Budget 2021.
He pointed out that people are not satisfied with the passing of Budget 2021 and also Muhyiddin failed to resolve issues concerning the loan moratorium extension and i-Sinar withdrawals from the Employee Provident Funds (EPF).
He added that one MPs is worth a lot if they show political support. However, he said they should withdraw their support as Muhyiddin likes Kamikaze.
He further stated that Najib Rajak pledged to pressure PN government to fulfil what it had promised or BN would take necessary action.
Mohd Puad said that maybe not all but three or five MPs can retrieve their support if they use their conscience.
