Iswardy Morni Could Be Sacked From Party For Insulting King: PKR

PKR has issued a stern warning against its leader Iswardy Morni for allegedly insulting Agong in a video. Party has clarified that whatever Iswardy told in his video is not related to PKR’s stand. “Iswardy is only an ordinary member of the Petra Jaya division in Sarawak”, the opposition party quoted in a statement. PKR also said that Iswardy could be sacked from the party.

Opposition party PKR said that a strong action might be taken against Iswardi Morni, who had arrested yesterday for allegedly insulting Yang di-Pertuan Agong in a YouTube video that was based on the ‘Total Lockdown’ in Malaysia.

Distancing itself from his party member’s remark, PKR’s communications director Fahmi Fadzil said in a statement that Iswardy’s statement does not represent to PKR.

Fadzil stated that police have already launched an investigation against Iswardy and if he found guilty then the party will not hesitate to take action against him. ‘He could be sacked from the party’, he said in a statement.
