Rejected! Parties Say No To PM Muhyiddin Yassin’s Cooperation Offer

All opposition parties have rejected Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin’s batch of offers in lieu of a cross-party cooperation on Friday.

The parties have rejected the offer outright, as most of them see it as a virtual act of bribery. Opposition parties, including PKR, UMNO and Amanah have again claimed that PM has lost his majority in parliament.

UMNO had said that party is already waiting for Muhyiddin Yassin’s resignation, but he failed to do so. UMNO said that Muhyiddin Yassin has already violated political ethics to stay in the power.

The DAP has also opposed the PM’s offer, saying that a second chance should not be given to a ‘failed’ government.

Apart from them, BN, Pakatan Harapan and allies, Warisan, Pejuang and Muda also said that they will not support PM’s move to continue the government.

Meanwhile, on Friday, PKR chief Anwar Ibrahim said that he has enough numbers in parliament to topple the Muhyiddin-led PN government. Port Dickson MP Anwar-led PKR has 88 lawmakers in 222 seat of parliament.
