Police Investigating Against 4 People For Allegedly Insulting Agong On Social Media

Kuala Lumpur: Police have launched an investigation against four social media accounts for allegedly insulting Yang di-Pertuan Agong on Facebook and Twitter.

Bukit Aman Criminal Investigations Department director Datuk Huzir Mohamed said one out of four individuals have been detained, while police are trying to track down others.

The detained person is Twitter account owner Liew Lip Nan, who posted a video by the National Security Council on the ‘Seven Wills of the Malay Rulers’.

Another Facebook account owner, known as Ronnie Liu Tian Khiew’, has allegedly posted a caption reading ‘Now in Bangkok. They Are Saying No to the King.”
