Kuala Lumpur: In a very unfortunate incident, a food delivery boy died after his bike encountered a pothole at Jalan PJU 7/2, Mutiara Damansara on Monday. The incident took place days after Minister Khairy Jamaluddin suffered minor injuries after he hit a pothole while riding cycle.
According to local authorities, the victim, who skidded on the left side of the road, died on the spot. The incident took place around 1.15 PM.
The Public Work Department (JKR), who had immediately apologised to KJ and promised to fill up potholes, has yet to be said anything after this fatal accident.
During KJ’s accident, the department also expressed the concern and said that KJ will get quick recovery from his injuries.
One of the users wrote after the incident; “everyday there are fatal cases because of potholes. Minister, close your eyes”.
Another ordinary person asked on social media; “JKR, Where are you”?
