Kuala Lumpur: Former newsman A. Kadir Jasin said that Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin’s position is unstable and temporary. He stated that Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s decision of not proclaiming emergency in Malaysia confirms Muhyiddin’s shaky position and not able to rule the country.
He said if the speculation of Muhyiddin resigning from the Prime Ministers post is true, he must quit.
In a Facebook post, Kadir said although Agong had granted a lifeline to Muhyiddin’s government, it was temporary.
He accused Muhyiddin’s government of using the emergency to stay in power, after previously shifting the no-confidence motion, which was passed against Muhyiddin in parliament.
However, he said the PN government made a mistake by letting King make the decision, hoping that it would be easy to convince the king compared to the 222 MPs.
He pointed out that the king has asked politicians to stop politicking, as it could affect the stability of the country. But kept on questioning PN government’s administration.
