Shooting At Malaysia-Thailand Border, One GOF Member Killed

Kuala Lumpur: A member of General Operations Force (GOF) stationed at the Malaysia-Thailand border in Perlis, was shot to death on Tuesday early morning. Confirming the incident, Inspector-General of Police Abdul Hamid Bador has said that more detail will be revealed regarding the matter in the press conference.

According to local media, the incident took place early morning at 3.10am where a GOF member killed and another person has suffered serious injuries, who has been referred to a nearby hospital.

He stated that he is aware of the incident and is on his way to the scene of the incident to check the condition of the PGA.

The reason behind the shooting is yet known.

According to reports, Perlis police will call for a press conference on the incident soon.
