In a blatant provocation, dozens of Chinese military’s planes entered the Malaysian airspace on Monday. Foreign Minister Hishammuddin Hussein said that China’s act was a serious threat to national sovereignty and safety. Malaysian Air Force authorities said that at least 16 military aircraft of China’s People Liberation Army (PLA) were detected that were flying close to Sarawak state. The Malaysian foreign ministry has asked China to explain following the incident.

Chinese Aircraft In Malaysia: Malaysia has expressed indignation after 16 Chinese military aircrafts’ intrusion into Malaysian airspace. Malaysia has said that it would summon the Chinese envoy to explain the matter. Chinese military aircrafts were flying 60 nautical miles off Sarawak’s Borneo Island.
Following the incident, foreign minister Hishammuddin Hussein said that China’s act was a serious threat to national sovereignty and safety. Lodging the strong diplomatic protest after the incident, the foreign minister said that a letter would be issued to the Chinese envoy to explain the reason behind PLA’s planes intrusion into the Malaysian sea.
China, which claims the entire South China Sea it’s own and created dozens of artificial islands in disputed areas, had earlier said that it’s a part of daily routine and it never violates international law.
