Kuala Lumpur: Amanah Youth chief Shazni Munir Mohd Ithnin said that former Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad should focus to strengthen the opposition coalition instead of attacking PKR leader Anwar Ibrahim again and again. His statement comes a day after Dr M said in an interview that PH cannot without his support.
He urged the 95-year-old leader to negotiate with PH’s principle in order to strengthen the grand coalition against the ruling government.
“Accept Anwar’s offer to sit down and negotiate with PH,” said Amnah leader.
Earlier, while giving an interview to China Press, Dr M had said that PH cannot win without his support.
He claimed that Anwar will lose the election if he excludes him during the next general polls.
He also taunted Anwar, saying that if he has enough numbers, which he (Anwar) claimed, to form the government then he must prove it.
Earlier, the PH chairman Anwar Ibrahim had expressed his intention to work with Dr Mahathir if there is no agenda and coalition principals’ are respected.
