The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) today dismissed Syed Saddiq’s claims that his phone and social media accounts were seized on their direction.

Syed Saddiq was questioned by the police for nearly two hours at Kuala Lumpur’s Dang Wangi police station over the videos he made after the death of milk trader A Ganapathy in police custody. Syed Saddiq claimed that his phone, Instagram and TikTok accounts were also seized by the police in MCMC’s direction.
