A 14-day enhanced movement control order (EMCO) order has been imposed in one area in Pahang’s Raub and two locations in Kedah’s Jitra from Tuesday. The EMCO in Ulu Lepar, Raub; and Darulaman and Lubuk Kawah in Jitra will end on May 31. The decision was taken after a sudden spike in cases.

A complete 14-day lockdown has been announced in one area in Pahang’s Raub and two locations in Kedah’s Jitra from Tuesday. Senior minister of security Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced Ulu Lepar, Raub and Darulaman and Lubuk Kawah in Jitra will be placed under a lockdown as a spike in the cases have been registered in these areas.
The lockdown or the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) in these two areas will end on May 31. The Ulu Lepas area saw a total of eight cases, while a total of 94 cases were reported in Bandar Darulaman and Lubuk Kawah.
