Kuala Lumpur: Two policemen were arrested and sent to the remand on the charge of allegedly sexually assaulting a young couple. According to reports, the incident took place on 4 December about 11 pm when they were on their patrol duty in Pengkalan Chepa, Kelantan. They not only physically assaulted the couple but also sexually harassed them by using abusive words.
In their complaint, the couple claimed that cops forced them to perform sex in their car and wanted to record the act. The victim woman also alleged that one of the policemen had punched her fiance and forced to withdraw RM1,250 from the ATM.
Meanwhile, Kelantan Police chief DCP Shafien Mamat has said that both have been arrested and the matter is under investigation. He also assured that appropriate action will be taken against personnel if they are found guilty.
