Kuala Lumpur: Ustaz Ebit Lew and his team members met with a tragic car accident late last night. According to local media reports, preacher Ebit Lew was also involved in the car accident that took place at Jalan Duta Toll Plaza, when he and his team were on the way back from Penang to Kuala Lumpur, where they had gone to help a homeless Hindu family.
Confirming the tragic incident on Facebook, Ustaz Ebit Lew said that the three members of his media team survived injuries during the incident.
“Now I’m at Gleneagles Hospital waiting for all three teams to do a CT scan. Pray all is well and safe. Pray for Teyha, Azrin and Ijad to all be safe and well. Sad to hear them moaning sick”, he wrote on his social media page.
Ebit said that incident happened when his car was trying to avoid another vehicle that made a sudden U-turn, causing it to break the divider in the middle of the road.
The tragic incident took place with a team of social workers-led by philanthropist Ustaz Ebit lew who were on their way back from Penang after helping a homeless family.
The homeless family, who were forced to living in a car over the past eight months after their house was destroyed due to a massive fire in April, finally got a three-BHK apartment– thanks to Ebit Lew.
