Veteran Newscaster Raymond Goh Passes Away at 62 After Battling Stroke: Report

Renowned newscaster Raymond Goh, whose Muslim name is Muhammad Zaman Goh Bin Abdullah, has sadly passed away at the age of 62. Goh’s family released a statement confirming his death, stating that he had been in critical condition since suffering a stroke on August 30. Despite receiving treatment at a hospital in Petaling Jaya, he peacefully passed away at 10.40 am.

In their statement, the family expressed deep sorrow and gratitude for the support they received during this challenging time. They noted that Raymond Goh, also known as the ‘man with the golden voice,’ had touched the lives of thousands of people in the country.

Funeral prayers are scheduled to be held at Masjid At-Taqwa in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, followed by his burial at Bukit Kiara Muslim Cemetery on the same day.aymond Goh had an illustrious career spanning 30 years in the broadcast industry, where he was prominently known as the news anchor for TV3’s Nightline news.
