Watch: Minister Accused of Showing Middle Finger To Opposition Bloc

Kuala Lumpur: Amid clashes between the government and opposition in parliament, speaker Azhar Azizan Harun described Pasir Salak MP Tajuddin Abdul Rahman’s comment calling Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman a “kid”, a mere joke with no ill intention.

Tajuddin made this comment while a heated argument erupted in the house after many opposition leaders, including Noor Amin, Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman (Muda-Muar) and RSN Rayer demanded to recount the bloc voting following the allegations of miscalculation.

However, the parliament passed three budgets, two by voice vote and one by bloc vote. The government got two victories in bloc vote after debate was called to be allocated under the Prime Minister and Finance Minister.

The plantation and commodities ministry’s allocation of RM729.39 million was passed with 108 votes against 95.

Earlier, during a heated argument in parliament, Opposition MPs accused Willie of flashing his “middle finger” twice to them. Meanwhile, Tajuddin claimed that there was nothing wrong with calling Syed a kid.
