Water Supply Resumes In 5 Districts

Water supply for 309,687 water consumer accounts in Petaling, Hulu Langat, Kuala Langat, Sepang and Putrajaya districts was resumed on Friday

According Suhaimi Kamaralzaman, the Chief Executive Officer at Air Selangor, the water supply from Sungai Semenyih and Bukit Tampoi water treatment plants resumed its operations 12 hours forth the scheduled time.

The water treatment plants in question stopped operating on October 4th after detection of pollutants in the supply.

“The clean water channelled to consumers had gone through the quality test in compliance with procedures established by the Health Ministry,” said Suhaimi Kamaralzaman.

Air Selangor, while thanking the regional consumers for their patience and cooperation throughout the unscheduled water cut, also urged them to help protect the rivers from being polluted and underly for the government if they witness any misdeed.
