Muar Member of Parliament Syed Saddiq has hit out at the PN government soon after coming out from the Session Court where he had arrived today for the trial of the two charges– breach of trust and ‘misusing’ the party fund. He said that PN has failed to stop him from criticising it over the past more than one and half years.
Syed Saddiq said that his opponents’ threats have never weakened his spirit. “These threats will only strengthen my spirit and ensure my dedication to clean up Malaysia (fight against corruption) and build Malaysia for all Malaysians,” the 29-year-old leader said after the court hearing.
Saddiq, earlier, pleaded not guilty before the session court judges regarding the charges of misusing the party fund (Bersatu) amounting to over 1RM million.

Saddiq, who has been vocal in critiquing the Muhyddin Yassin led Perikatan Nasional, said that charges against him were purely politically motivated. He exuded confidence that court and judges will decently dismiss all the charges that levelled against him by his opponents.
Earlier, he said on Twitter he joined the politics to clean up (courruption) politics, he does not have any luxury stuff like—fancy cars and costly watches. He also said that he does not have a bank account abroad or under proxy.
“I am what you see,” Saddiq said on social media.
