National Para shot put F20 (learning disabilities) champion Ziyad Zolkefli brought home the gold medal for Malaysia today at the Tokyo 2021 Paralympic Games. The victory comes on the day of Malaysia Independence Day. Breaking his world record twice in the Paralympic Games, Ziyad threw 17.94m and defended his gold medal in the Paralympic Games. Last time in 2017, he broke the world record with a throw of 17.29m at the World Athletics Championships in London.
