K-pop boy group BIGBANG’s member Taeyang and his wife, actress Min Hyo Rin are expecting their first child. The news broke after Korean media reported that the actress is expected to give birth soon. Later, Min’s talent agency confirmed her pregnancy, however, did not mention when she is scheduled to give birth.

“It is true that Min Hyo Rin is expecting. She is waiting joyfully,” her agency responded to the reports. This is the first child for both stars, who have been together for seven years.
Her agency further stated that Min Hyo hopes to give birth quietly. “We are for your understanding in not being able to respond to further questions,” they said.
BIGBANG’s Taeyang, 33, first met actress Min Hyo Rin, 35, in 2014 on the set of his video “1AM” and they began dating shortly afterward. The two got married in February 2018 with family and friends witnessing the ceremony.
Taeyang is a member of BIGBANG which debuted in 2006 and is one of the most influential K-pop groups. Just a month after their wedding, Taeyang began his military service and was discharged in 2019.
