K-pop boy band BTS won three titles at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards. The three titles include—Group of the Year, Best K-pop, and Song of Summer for their song “Butter” at the award show which was held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The boy band was nominated for a total of seven titles, which was a record high for the group. The group gave their acceptance speech via video as they could not attend the ceremony.

They won the song of the Summer award for their second English song “Butter.” The song has claimed the top spot on the Billboard’s main singles charts, the Hot 100 for 10 weeks. This is also the third straight year the group has won both Group of the Year and Best K-Pop.
