MTV Music Video Awards 2021: Justin Bieber Leads With Seven Nods Followed By Megan Thee Stallion

Justin Bieber leads the nominations pack for this year’s MTV Video Music Awards with claims on seven titles, followed by Megan Thee Stallion with six. MTV announced the full list of nominees for 2021 yesterday.

The Video Music Awards is set to air live from Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, which was the site of the award event in 2013. The show will honor the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

While both Justin Beiber and Megan Thee Stallion are up for the Artist of the Year award against Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo and Doja Cat.

Many other artists scored five nominations —- including Billie Eilish, BTS, Doja Cat, Drake, Giveon, Lil Nas X and Olivia Rodrigo. Vying for Video of the year along with “WAP” are “Popstar” by Dj Khaled ft Drake, “Kiss Me More” from Doja Cat, Ed Sheeran’s “Bad Habits,” Lil Nas X’s “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” and The Weekend’s “Save Your Tears.”
