“Spider-Man: No Way Home” Trailer Smashes 24-Hour Global Record View

The most awaited Spider-Man: No Way Home teaser trailer broke the 24-hours record for most global views. With the Spider-Man fandom, it’s no surprise that the trailer set a new record within the first 24-hours with 355.5 million views. Avengers: Endgame held the previous record with 289 million views.

It was launched on CinemaCon presentation and social media on Tuesday. A day after which Sony announced that the teaser trailer had broken the 24-hour most-viewed record with 355 million views, ahead of Avengers: Endgame.

Not only that, but the teaser trailer also generated the largest 24-hour conversations on social media globally with 4.5 million conversations. “You made this magic happen,’ Sony Pictures wrote on Twitter. According to Deadline, it also generated 1.96 million mentions in just 12 hours.

Previously, a phone-filmed version of the trailer was leaked on social media, however, now it seems like it only made the audience more curious. The first part of the teaser trailer shows the return of Tom Holland as Peter Parker, while the second part shows Doctor Strange casting a spell on the world to forget Spider-Man’s real identity as Peter Parker.

Many characters were shown reprising their roles in the three-minute teaser trailer.

Spider-Man: No Way Home will hit theatres in December this year.
