Amazon’s long-awaited MMO ‘New World’ has yet again delayed its release date. Amazon Studios took to Twitter to make the announcement, stating that the delayed time will be used to improve stability and polish the game. The game was previously delayed from a scheduled February release to August.
‘New World’ made a big splash in the streaming community when the game’s closed beta started, which had analysts wondering if it might be the breakout game for Amazon Game Studios.

The developers said that this is not first time when they have changed the launching date. They claimed it often happens in pursuit of a better quality and in the view of customers’ satisfaction. They appreciated the feedback given by the players, and said they will use them to make “New World” better.
They further added, “But we want to be sure we deliver you the highest quality game possible at launch.”
New World is now due to launch in September in order to give the team time to make some improvements based on what was encountered during closed beta.
Meanwhile, the closed beta hit over 200,000 concurrent players towards the start of its period, which is a good sign going into full release.
