TikTok Confirms Testing 24-Hour Stories Feature

The widely popular China-based short video app TikTok has confirmed the news of testing its new feature – that will allow users to explore additional ways to bring out their creative ideas.

This 24-hours story feature is similar to the features of other social media apps like Snapchat and Instagram.

In this new feature, the stories will expire in 24-hours after being posted. TikTok has started testing TikTok Stories feature in several countries.

TikTok’s Spokesperson stated in a statement that the app is always working for its communities to get better experience and to encourage value.

They claim to provide creators with additional formats, which would bring their creative ideas to life for the TikTok community.

Social media consultant gave his followers on Twitter a look at the new feature, writing, “Introducing TikTok Stories. Plot Twist!” However, only few users have access to it outside of the US.

Earlier, Twitter introduced Instagram Stories-like feature ‘Fleets’, but had to later shut it down.
